Aichi-Nagoya: India’s shooting star Elavenil Valarivan is ready for her next challenge at the Asian Games 2026 after a stunning double-silver performance on the opening day.
Elavenil first teamed up with Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod to win silver in the women’s 10m air rifle team event. She then added another silver in the individual 10m air rifle final, finishing with 252.4 points, just 0.6 points behind Japan’s Hinata Taichi.
But the campaign is far from over. Elavenil will now shift her focus to the 10m air rifle mixed-team event on September 22, where she is scheduled to partner Parth Man
With two silver medals already in her bag, all eyes will be on Elavenil as she returns to the range looking to add another medal to India’s shooting tally.
