Today, on the occasion of the total lunar eclipse, the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala will remain closed for nearly 10 hours. The eclipse, which will begin at 3:21 PM, is expected to last until 6:47 PM.

Today, on the occasion of the total lunar eclipse, the Srivari temple in Tirumala will remain closed for nearly 10 hours. The eclipse will begin at 3:21 PM on Tuesday and will last until 6:47 PM. In view of the eclipse's impact, officials have decided to close all temples within the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams jurisdiction from 9 AM to 7:30 PM.

This information was revealed by Additional Executive Officer Sri C.H. Venkayya Chowdary. He stated that after completing the temple purification rituals, darshan for devotees will resume. He also clarified that the free meal distribution centers managed by TTD have been temporarily suspended due to the eclipse. Devotees are requested to take note of these changes and make their darshan arrangements accordingly.
