Popular Indian television actress Rupali Ganguly has spoken about her early struggles in the film industry, revealing that she faced uncomfortable casting couch situations during auditions and initial career attempts. The actress shared that she refused to compromise and eventually stepped away from films.

Rupali said that although she came from a film background, breaking into cinema was not easy. She explained that she was often left disappointed by the way opportunities were offered, which made her shift her focus to television. 

The Anupamaa star added that many people once considered her unsuccessful in films, but she never let that label define her journey. Instead, she rebuilt her career through television, where she found both fame and stability.

Today, Rupali Ganguly is one of the most recognized faces on Indian TV, with Anupamaa becoming one of the longest-running and most popular daily soaps in the country. Her performance has earned her widespread appreciation and strong audience connection.

She concluded that choosing integrity over compromise helped her achieve long-term success, and she is proud of her decision to stay true to her values in a highly competitive industry.
