Mumbai: The big-screen adaptation of the popular Mirzapur franchise is making a strong impact at the box office. Mirzapur: The Movie, featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Ravi Kishan, has reportedly crossed the ₹75 crore worldwide gross mark within its first two days.
The film’s strong performance comes as no surprise given the huge following enjoyed by the Mirzapur franchise. Pankaj Tripathi’s return as Kaleen Bhaiya has been one of the major talking points among fans, while the film brings the franchise’s familiar crime, power and rivalry themes to theatres.
After a promising opening day, the movie witnessed continued audience interest on Day 2. The early box-office trend suggests that the film could record an even stronger total over the weekend if the momentum continues.
