Mumbai: Television actress Akanksha Chamola has addressed the widely circulated reports claiming that she sought ₹10 crore as alimony from her estranged husband, actor Gaurav Khanna.

Speaking about the controversy, Akanksha reportedly rejected the claim and made it clear that the figure being discussed on social media does not reflect reality. Her remarks come amid growing public interest in the couple’s personal life and reported divorce.

Akanksha and Gaurav Khanna had been married for several years before their relationship reportedly went through difficulties. The actress later confirmed that the two had been living separately and that their marriage was heading towards divorce.

The alimony speculation subsequently became a major topic of discussion online. Akanksha has now spoken against the rumours, questioning the claims surrounding the alleged ₹10 crore settlement.

The actress has also faced social-media comments about her marriage and the age difference between the couple. She has previously pushed back against such remarks and asked people not to make assumptions about her personal life.

While rumours about a massive alimony settlement continue to circulate online, Akanksha’s latest comments indicate that the ₹10 crore figure should not be treated as a confirmed settlement amount.
