Chennai: The much-awaited first look and title of Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming biopic on legendary Carnatic vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi will be unveiled today, September 16, at 5:15 PM. The launch coincides with Subbulakshmi’s 110th birth anniversary.

Rashmika is set to portray the iconic singer in the highly anticipated project and has described the opportunity as an “absolute honour.” The actress recently shared the first poster, building anticipation for the official reveal.

The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. The makers are planning the project as a major cinematic tribute to Subbulakshmi’s extraordinary life and musical legacy.

Actor Kamal Haasan is expected to attend the grand launch event in Chennai as the special guest. The official title and first-look reveal are likely to offer the first major glimpse of Rashmika’s transformation into the legendary vocalist.
