Congress candidates' nominations submitted for the Rajya Sabha from Telangana, set for unanimous election.

Nominations for the Rajya Sabha have been submitted by Congress representatives Singhvi and Narender Reddy; the absence of BRS clears the way for a unanimous election.

Nominations for the Rajya Sabha from Telangana have been filed by Abhishek Manu Singhvi and V. Narender Reddy on behalf of the Congress party. They submitted their nomination papers to the election officer Upender Reddy at the Assembly office. Singhvi filed three sets of nominations, while V. Narender Reddy submitted four sets. Independent candidate Sai filed his nomination with a single set. On this occasion, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, ministers, and a large number of MLAs were present.

As the nomination process for the Rajya Sabha elections concludes, there is a possibility that the nomination submitted by the independent candidate may be rejected due to the lack of support signatures from 10 MLAs. With the main opposition party BRS not fielding a candidate, the election of Abhishek Manu Singhvi and V. Narender Reddy is set to be unanimous. Given that Singhvi's term as a Rajya Sabha member from Telangana is coming to an end, the Congress leadership has provided him another opportunity. Despite intense competition for another seat, V. Narender Reddy ultimately secured the party ticket.
