Review meeting on summer train safety held in South Central Railway.

A security review will be conducted in the South Central Railway for the upcoming summer, focusing on track, fire, infrastructure, and CCTV surveillance.

In view of the upcoming summer season, a review of safety measures was conducted by the South Central Railway Zone. This program was organized by the Zone General Manager, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, at the Secunderabad railway station. The meeting was attended via video conference by Additional General Manager Mr. Satya Prakash, Principal Heads of Departments, as well as Divisional Railway Managers from Vijayawada, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Nanded, and Guntakal divisions.

General Manager Mr. Srivastava provided recommendations to officials for ensuring that trains run smoothly and safely during the summer, including strengthening of tracks, maintenance to withstand high temperatures, conducting safety inspections where necessary, and monitoring ballast filling. Additionally, a review was conducted on the zone's fire safety drive to prevent any fire incidents in trains, adherence to safety guidelines at construction sites, inspections to ensure that construction materials are not left behind after work is completed, and the installation of CCTV cameras at private sidings and goods sheds. The General Manager stated that systematic monitoring of all safety measures will continue.
