Review meeting on security in South Central Railway.

The General Manager focused on reviewing security in the South Central Railway, conducting track inspections, safety alarms, and special attention to level crossing gates.

The General Manager of South Central Railway, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, conducted an extensive review on security issues at the railway station in Secunderabad.

Along with Additional General Manager Satyaprakash, principal heads and divisional railway managers from all six divisions participated via video conference. Srivastava suggested implementing phased actions to further strengthen security in train operations. He directed that special inspections be conducted on points, crossings, and safety alarms for track security.

He emphasized that staff should remain vigilant when work is being carried out near the tracks and issue necessary precautionary instructions. A review was also conducted on the management of safety equipment to prevent accidents in railway premises. The condition of non-interlocked level crossing gates and the quality of railway fittings were also comprehensively examined.
