Telangana to face severe heatwave for next 3 days with rising temperatures and thunderstorms in several districts, officials warn.

Hyderabad, April 9: Weather conditions across Telangana are turning extreme, with intense heat and sudden thunderstorms expected over the next three days.

 According to the Hyderabad

 Meteorological Centre, temperatures are likely to rise by 2–3°C, increasing the risk of heatwave conditions. Some areas may see temperatures touching around 44°C, raising concerns of heatstroke.

At the same time, moderate rains with thunder and lightning are expected

in parts of Bhadradri, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts till this morning.

Authorities warn that the state is facing a dual weather threat—scorching heat and storm activity, urging people to stay alert.
