Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has confirmed that State Minister D. Sudhakar remains unconscious, with doctors closely monitoring his condition and expected to take a critical decision on further treatment within the next 24 hours.
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister stated that the minister has not yet regained consciousness, which is a key factor in determining the next line of medical intervention. He emphasized that if a lung transplant becomes necessary, doctors would require the patient to regain brain responsiveness before proceeding.
Siddaramaiah also noted that Sudhakar is currently stable, offering a cautious sense of relief amid concerns over his health. A CT scan has been scheduled for tomorrow, which is expected to provide clearer insights into his condition and help doctors decide on the course of treatment.
The Chief Minister added that he has personally met Sudhakar’s family and assured them of the best possible medical care. The coming hours remain crucial as the medical team evaluates whether the minister’s condition improves enough to allow advanced procedures.
