Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the completion of all major irrigation projects in the combined Mahabubnagar district at the earliest.
After inspecting several ongoing project sites in the region, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior officials and ministers to assess the progress.
He emphasized that land acquisition must be given top priority for the timely completion of irrigation works. The Chief Minister noted that project execution cannot move forward without completing land acquisition and instructed district collectors to coordinate closely with local MLAs and MLCs to resolve related issues.
He also directed collectors to conduct regular field visits, monitor progress on the ground, and ensure that the land acquisition process is completed without delay. The government, he assured, is ready to release required funds promptly as needed.
The review meeting was attended by Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Vakiti Srihari, along with public representatives from the combined Palamuru region, irrigation department officials, and district collectors.
