South Central Railway organized the ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event at Secunderabad, promoting fitness, healthy living, and environmental awareness among participants.

In an initiative to promote fitness, healthy living, and environmental awareness, the South Central Railway Sports Association successfully organized the ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event at the Railway Sports Complex, Secunderabad, on Sunday.

 The event was formally flagged off by Ms. Aroma Singh Thakur, Inspector General-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner and President of the South Central Railway Sports Association. Addressing the participants, she emphasized the importance of adopting cycling as a healthy and sustainable mode of transportation while encouraging regular physical activity as part of everyday life.

 

The cycling event witnessed enthusiastic participation from railway officers, sportspersons, and employees of South Central Railway, who joined the initiative with great energy and enthusiasm. Participants rode together to spread the message of fitness, environmental conservation, and an active lifestyle. The programme reflected the commitment of South Central Railway towards promoting employee wellness and creating awareness about the benefits of cycling for both personal health and a cleaner environment. The event also fostered team spirit and encouraged participants to incorporate regular exercise into their daily routines. The ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative received an encouraging response from all those present, highlighting the growing interest in fitness-oriented community activities.
