Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy inspected Mansoorabad, Kuntloor, Hayathnagar Khalsa and Nagole on Wednesday, directing officials to intensify sanitation, mosquito control and plantation drives.
He ordered immediate removal of stagnant water near swimming pools to curb mosquito breeding, daily clearance of garbage from Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs), and the strengthening of anti-larval measures.
The Commissioner also instructed officials to identify suitable locations for plantation, begin tree-planting without delay, and ensure regular maintenance of saplings to improve the city's green cover.
He reiterated that the Corporation's goal is to build a cleaner, greener and healthier city for residents.
