IRCTC 'Bharat Gaurav' Tourist Train: Special package for the Divine South Tour including Arunachalam

The IRCTC Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will depart from Visakhapatnam for the Divya Dakshina Yatra on April 27, including visits to pilgrimage sites such as Arunachalam.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special 'Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train' specifically for devotees and tourists in the South Central Zone. This special train will depart from Visakhapatnam on April 27, 2026, and will conduct a divine southern journey visiting prominent pilgrimage sites in South India, including Arunachalam, Kanchipuram, and Mahabalipuram. The journey will last for a total of 8 days / 7 nights from April 27 to May 4, 2026. The tour will cover famous pilgrimage sites and tourist destinations such as Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Rameswaram, Madurai, Tiruchi, Thanjavur, and Tiruvannamalai. The train will travel from Visakhapatnam via Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, and Gudur.

According to the details announced by IRCTC, the price for the sleeper class economy package has been set at ₹14,700 for adults and ₹13,800 for children aged 5 to 11 years. The package includes train travel, accommodation in budget hotels, local transportation, vegetarian meals, travel insurance, tour escort services, support from the IRCTC tour manager, and applicable taxes.
