New Delhi, June 1: Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been revised upward across several cities with effect from June 1, increasing fuel costs for businesses and commercial establishments.
The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been increased by ₹42, taking the retail price to ₹3,113.50. In Kolkata, the price has gone up by ₹53.50, bringing the cost to ₹3,255.50.
The rate of 5-kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders has also been raised by ₹11. Following the revision, a 5-kg FTL cylinder in Delhi will now cost ₹821.50.
Despite the increase in commercial LPG rates, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, offering relief to household consumers.
The revised rates are effective from June 1 and are expected to impact operating expenses for restaurants, hotels, catering services and other businesses that depend on LPG for daily operations.
