Mumbai: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday (October 20) as part of his visit to India. He met with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. During this meeting, discussions were held on key issues such as energy security and mutual cooperation in the defense sector, which are significant for both countries.
As part of his two-day visit to India, Marco Rubio is also scheduled to meet with prominent Indian government officials as well as business leaders. Strengthening India-U.S. bilateral relations and expanding strategic cooperation will be key focus areas during this visit.
