The counting process of the offerings collected in the hundi by devotees at the Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy temple, located on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada, was successfully completed on Wednesday under tight security.

The counting process, which began at 8 AM on the 6th floor of the Mallikarjuna Mahamandapam, concluded at 4 PM. The temple executive officer (EO), members of the governing council, and officials from the endowments department conducted the counting under direct supervision.

Temple officials stated that the entire process was conducted under CCTV surveillance and with strict security arrangements, emphasizing transparency.

This time, officials revealed that devotees submitted a record 420 grams of gold through the hundi.
