. Victims, during police questioning, have revealed chilling accounts of abuse, misconduct, and intimidation that allegedly took place inside one of the country’s most reputed IT workplaces.

According to statements recorded by investigators, the accused not only subjected women employees to inappropriate behavior but also allegedly made objectionable remarks targeting Hindu beliefs and deities.

Victims further claimed they were pressured to adopt religious practices against their will, including being forced to wear a burqa. These claims have intensified outrage, raising serious concerns about workplace safety and freedom of belief in corporate India. One of the victims, a newly married employee who joined TCS last year, described repeated harassment during her training period. She alleged that a training leader and another employee from a different department made explicit comments about her body and personal life, creating a deeply hostile work environment.

The harassment reportedly extended beyond professional spaces, with incidents occurring even in common areas like the office canteen. In her testimony, the victim further alleged that she was inappropriately touched and shamed for not adhering to certain dress norms. She was reportedly told that women who do not wear burqas are responsible for sexual violence—remarks that have sparked widespread condemnation.

In a particularly disturbing incident, she claimed that she was forcibly approached and nearly assaulted when she came to the office wearing a saree on the occasion of Ugadi, leaving her traumatized.

Meanwhile, a key आरोपी in the case, an employee identified as Needa Khan, sought anticipatory bail citing pregnancy.
