Atiq Ahmed's Youngest Son Dies in Road Accident While Travelling to Meet Jailed Brother

Abaan Ahmed, the youngest son of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed, died in a road accident in Jhansi while travelling to meet his jailed brother. Police are investigating the crash.

Jhansi: Abaan Ahmed, the youngest son of slain gangster and former politician Atiq Ahmed, was killed in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi district on Wednesday while travelling to meet his elder brother, Ali Ahmed, who is currently lodged in jail.

According to police, the SUV carrying Abaan reportedly lost control and crashed into a road divider. The impact was severe, killing Abaan and another occupant on the spot. Three other passengers suffered injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police reached the accident site soon after receiving information and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Preliminary findings suggest the driver may have lost control of the vehicle, though officials are examining all possible factors.

 The incident adds to a series of tragedies involving Atiq Ahmed's family in recent years. Authorities are continuing their inquiry, and further details are expected after the investigation progresses.
