Pune: The Ketan Agarwal murder case has taken a shocking turn with a 5,053-page chargesheet filed by Pune Rural Police, revealing alleged details of how investigators say his fiancée Siya Goyal, her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary and Ritesh Hange planned the crime. According to the chargesheet, the alleged conspiracy involved a fake Instagram account, online research, murder-related films, podcasts and the use of ChatGPT.
Fake Instagram ‘Mahi’ to Lure Ketan
Police allege that a fake Instagram account named “Mahi” was created using a photograph of a girl known to the accused. Messages from the account allegedly convinced Ketan that Goyal’s friend wanted them to visit Lohagad Fort for a surprise birthday celebration. The chargesheet reportedly says the accused conducted extensive online research while allegedly planning the killing. Police allege that they watched murder-related films, listened to podcasts discussing ways to avoid police detection and used ChatGPT during their research. Investigators also examined searches relating to other high-profile murder cases, including the Meghalaya killing of Raja Raghuvanshi.
Lohagad ‘Accident’ Theory Alleged

Police have also alleged that an earlier attempt on June 14 failed before Ketan was allegedly pushed from the fort on June 18. The allegations remain part of the police chargesheet and will be tested through court proceedings.
