Hyderabad: A major interstate crime gang allegedly involved in cattle thefts and mobile shop burglaries has been busted in Telangana. Hyderabad Task Force and Khammam police jointly apprehended members of the gang, exposing an alleged network operating across Telangana and Madhya Pradesh.
Police seized mobile phones, vehicles and a staggering ₹22 lakh in cash from the suspects. The recoveries have added a major twist to the investigation as police probe the gang’s alleged involvement in multiple theft cases
. Investigators are now working to identify the gang’s wider network and determine how the stolen cattle and mobile phones were allegedly moved and disposed of across state borders.
Police are also tracing other suspects believed to be linked to the network. Further arrests and additional recoveries are possible as the investigation continues.
