Hyderabad, April 29:
Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy made a significant appeal regarding the ongoing Naxalite issue, emphasizing that the state government is committed to resolving it through development and inclusion.
Ā The Chief Minister stated that the government aims to bring Naxalites into the fold of development and ensure they become active participants in the stateās progress. He urged those still in hiding to lay down arms and return to normal civilian life.
Specifically mentioning senior Maoist leader Muppala Lakshmana Rao (Ganapathi), the CM called on him and other underground leaders and cadres to surrender and integrate into the mainstream of society.
He assured that those who surrender would be provided with rehabilitation, employment opportunities, and security. Revanth Reddy stressed that peace and development are the only sustainable path forward for the state.
Ā The government, he added, is working to ensure inclusive development for all sections of society and appealed to those involved in violence to abandon that path and contribute positively to society.
