In view of maintaining peace and security, the sale of alcohol has been suspended for 24 hours.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, wine shops in the Nizamabad, Armur, and Bodhan divisions will remain closed for 24 hours.

On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami festival, in view of maintaining peace and order, Police Commissioner Sri P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, announced that liquor shops within the jurisdiction of Nizamabad Police Commissionerate will be temporarily closed.

Informing the public in the Nizamabad, Armoor, and Bodhan divisions, he stated that these orders were issued under Section 20(1) of the Telangana Excise Act–1968. As part of precautionary measures to ensure peace and order across the district, it was mentioned that liquor retail outlets including wine shops, arrack depots, IML (A4) shops, 2B bars, clubs, TD-1, CS-2, and other liquor sale centers will be completely closed from 6 AM on March 27 to 6 AM on March 28.

The Commissioner urged that the Sri Rama Navami celebrations should take place peacefully and with devotion, and requested the public to cooperate with the police department.
