Hyderabad, April 13, 2026: A prominent weather forecaster, popularly known as the “Telangana Weatherman,” has issued a serious heatwave warning for the state, predicting intense weather conditions over the next seven days. The alert cautions residents to prepare for extreme temperatures and prolonged exposure to hot winds, particularly during peak daytime hours.
According to the forecast, northern districts of Telangana are expected to bear the brunt of the heatwave. Areas including Adilabad (ADLB), Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad (NZB), Jagtial, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Bhupalpally, and Mulugu are likely to experience severe hot winds and rising temperatures, making conditions increasingly harsh for residents.
The alert also highlights that southern districts such as Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Gadwal could witness particularly high temperatures ranging between 42°C and 45°C. These levels are significantly above normal seasonal averages and could pose serious health risks, especially for vulnerable groups like the elderly, children, and outdoor workers.
Authorities are advising people to avoid unnecessary travel during afternoon hours, stay hydrated, and take precautions against heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke and dehydration. Farmers and daily wage workers have been urged to adjust their schedules to minimize exposure to extreme heat conditions.
With the heatwave expected to persist throughout the week, officials are closely monitoring the situation and may issue further advisories if conditions worsen. Residents are encouraged to stay updated with official weather bulletins and follow safety guidelines to cope with the extreme summer conditions.
