Hyderabad, June 4:
Health authorities at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad identified a passenger with a reported history linked to the Ebola virus during routine health screening on Thursday.
The passenger, identified as Mohammed, arrived from Sudan and underwent medical checks at the airport's government-operated screening facility. Officials flagged the traveler during the screening process and immediately initiated precautionary health protocols.
Following the assessment, the passenger was transported to Gandhi Hospital in a specially equipped ambulance for further evaluation, isolation, and medical observation.
