Jaipur, May 15: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Friday virtually laid the foundation stone and dedicated development projects worth more than ₹400 crore across the state
. The projects span critical sectors including semiconductor manufacturing, railway infrastructure, and sewage water treatment plants. The initiative is aimed at strengthening Rajasthan’s industrial ecosystem, improving transportation connectivity, and expanding urban infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said the projects reflect the state government's commitment to transforming Rajasthan into a major investment and technology hub. He noted that infrastructure expansion and industrial growth are central to the government's long-term development strategy.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted the Centre’s focus on promoting semiconductor manufacturing and advanced technology in India. He said Rajasthan is emerging as an important destination for electronics and technology investments due to its policy support and growing industrial base
. Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said the sewage treatment projects will help improve urban sanitation and support water conservation efforts. The newly launched initiatives are expected to generate employment opportunities and contribute to sustainable development across Rajasthan.
