Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that recent appeals asking people to avoid buying gold and reduce air travel reflect the Centre’s governance failure
. He said the Central government has completely failed in foreign policy and is now trying to shift responsibility onto the public through such advisories. According to him, this reflects “irresponsible governance” and an attempt to hide policy failures.
Revanth Reddy also stated that the Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has been raising similar concerns consistently, and the government should take opposition suggestions seriously.
He demanded that the Centre convene an all-party meeting to discuss national issues and adopt a more inclusive approach in decision-making.
The Chief Minister further alleged that India is being pushed into a crisis due to lack of clear policy direction, inexperience, and arrogance at the Centre. He also stressed that fertilizer supply, especially urea, should be fully managed by the Central government, while states should only handle distribution.
