Elizabeth Warren has launched a fierce attack on President Donald Trump's proposed "Big, Beautiful Bill", accusing the administration of favoring the richest Americans while providing minimal benefits to middle and lower-income families.
In a statement posted on social media, Warren argued that families earning around $50,000 annually would receive tax relief worth less than $2 per day under the legislation. In contrast, she claimed households belonging to the top 0.1 percent income bracket could receive tax benefits exceeding $300,000.
The Democratic senator described the proposal as "legalized theft from working people to reward the ultra-rich," intensifying the political battle over the bill as lawmakers prepare for key debates on taxation and government spending.
Republicans have strongly rejected the criticism, insisting the legislation would lower taxes, encourage business investment, create jobs and boost economic growth across the country. Supporters of the measure argue that both businesses and households across multiple income groups stand to benefit from the proposed reforms.
The legislation has quickly become a major flashpoint in Washington, with both parties expected to make tax policy a central issue in the run-up to the 2026 midterm elections
