Netanyahu Faces Growing Pressure as Regional Conflicts and Diplomatic Strains Mount

Geopolitical analyst Ian Bremmer says Israel's conflicts with Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah, along with tensions with Washington, have increased pressure on Netanyahu.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing increasing political and strategic pressure following a series of regional challenges that critics say have weakened his standing both at home and abroad.

Political analyst and Eurasia Group founder Ian Bremmer argued that an inconclusive confrontation with Iran, coupled with Israel's inability to decisively defeat Hamas in Gaza or significantly weaken Hezbollah in Lebanon, has left Netanyahu politically exposed.

Bremmer further noted that growing tensions between Israel and the United States, traditionally its closest ally and biggest supporter, have added to the challenges confronting the Israeli leadership. Differences over military strategy, regional diplomacy and the handling of the Gaza conflict have reportedly strained relations between Jerusalem and Washington.
