Hyderabad, July 15:

With several parts of Telangana experiencing below-normal rainfall this monsoon season, AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has announced special prayers for rain to be held on July 26.

The decision comes amid growing concern among farmers and residents over the prolonged dry conditions affecting agricultural activities and water resources in many districts across the state.

Owaisi appealed to people to participate in the prayers and seek timely rainfall for the welfare of farmers and the successful progress of the kharif season. The special prayer gathering is expected to take place in Hyderabad with participation from members of the community.

Agriculture experts and officials are closely monitoring weather patterns as Telangana awaits improved monsoon activity in the coming weeks. Adequate rainfall during the remainder of the season will be crucial for crop cultivation and reservoir levels across the state.
