Tensions have escalated sharply in West Bengal following the recent election results, with fresh reports of violent clashes between political groups triggering widespread unrest in several pockets of the state.

According to initial reports, BJP workers allegedly targeted and damaged multiple Trinamool Congress (TMC) party offices in various areas, while counter allegations suggest attacks on BJP supporters in retaliation. The situation reportedly spiraled out of control in Sandeshkhali, where intense clashes were reported overnigh

Unconfirmed reports also claim that around five police personnel were injured during the violence in Sandeshkhali, allegedly after being caught in crossfire while attempting to control the situation.
