 According to political sources, both leaders aligned on the need for a united front against the BJP and its allies in Tamil Nadu. The conversation also covered broader alliance dynamics within the opposition INDIA bloc.

Stalin is understood to have reiterated that the DMK remains firmly committed to the INDIA alliance, stressing that safeguarding democratic values remains a central political priority.
