 Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra paid heartfelt tribute to Nobel laureate, philosopher, and poet Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary, remembering his timeless vision of a fearless and enlightened India.

In a message shared on social media, Priyanka Gandhi said, “My respectful tribute to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Nobel Prize-winning literary giant, philosopher, and the composer of India’s national anthem.”

 Quoting Tagore’s iconic words, she wrote, “We must build a nation where the mind is without fear, where knowledge is free, and where truth guides our path.” She added that Tagore’s ideas and philosophy continue to serve as a guiding light for the country.

Priyanka Gandhi said Tagore’s thoughts remain deeply relevant in today’s India, inspiring generations to uphold the values of truth, freedom, and intellectual courage.

Rabindranath Tagore, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his celebrated work Gitanjali, remains one of India’s greatest cultural icons. His contributions to literature, education, and nationalism continue to shape the nation’s conscience. 

Leaders and citizens across the country also remembered Tagore on his birth anniversary, paying homage to a visionary whose words still resonate with remarkable power.
