New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has submitted a three-point memorandum to Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda amid its ongoing protest over alleged NEET examination irregularities and activist Sonam Wangchuk's detention.
According to reports, a CJP delegation met Nadda and demanded the immediate release of Sonam Wangchuk, the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and ₹1 crore compensation for the families of NEET aspirants who allegedly died by suicide due to exam-related stress
The delegation argued that the alleged examination irregularities have severely impacted students' trust in the education system and called for accountability.
The meeting comes as protests continue in New Delhi, with demonstrators demanding reforms in the examination process. Government officials have acknowledged receiving the memorandum, while discussions on the demands are expected to continue
