Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra has launched a sharp attack on senior party colleague Sudip Bandyopadhyay, accusing him of misleading party members about his health and whereabouts, triggering fresh political speculation within the party.
In a post on X, Moitra alleged that Bandyopadhyay was initially said to be admitted to a hospital in Kolkata due to a stomach ailment. However, she claimed he was later seen on television at the Delhi residence of BJP leader Bhupender Yadav.
Using sharp and sarcastic language, Moitra suggested that his “mask and wig” had come off and even remarked that he should reconsider his social media identity, hinting at alleged proximity to the BJP.
The comments have intensified discussions around possible internal rifts within the All India Trinamool Congress, especially amid ongoing political realignments and opposition activity ahead of key political developments.
