New Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has reignited a political debate over the ideology and long-term vision of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), claiming that its core ideological objective has remained unchanged despite major shifts in India’s political landscape.
Tharoor argued that the RSS continues to advocate the idea of transforming India into a Hindu Rashtra based on Hindutva. According to him, while political circumstances and governments have changed over the decades, the organisation’s fundamental ideological position remains consistent.
