New Delhi, August 10, 2026:
Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing the ruling party of creating “confusion” and demanding that Union Home Minister Amit Shah make a statement on issues raised by the Opposition in Parliament.
Speaking in Delhi, Yadav said the Opposition was united in demanding answers from the Union Home Minister. She alleged that the government must address concerns surrounding violence and alleged injustice involving students, while also allowing discussion on the Opposition’s allegations of funds being diverted or misused.
“The BJP should not spread such confusion because they are always in the business of spreading confusion,” Yadav said, intensifying the Opposition’s criticism of the ruling party.
The SP leader said the Opposition wants the Home Minister to respond directly in Parliament rather than allowing the issues to remain surrounded by political allegations and counter-allegations. She stressed that the concerns raised over students and alleged financial irregularities must be discussed.
Yadav’s remarks are likely to add further heat to the political atmosphere in Parliament, with the Opposition pressing the government for clarity on multiple contentious issues. The demand for a statement from the Home Minister could also trigger another round of confrontation between the Treasury benches and Opposition parties.
The political battle is now expected to intensify as the Opposition seeks to turn the alleged student-related violence, injustice and financial irregularity claims into major parliamentary issues.
