For the convenience of pilgrims, the Ministry of Railways has introduced Summer Special “Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains” through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). According to D.S.G.P. Kishore, Joint General Manager, IRCTC, four special pilgrimage packages will be operated from Hyderabad between April 14 and June 12 for people from the Telugu states.
The special packages include pilgrimages to major spiritual destinations such as Ayodhya, Kashi, Baidyanath Dham, Mata Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Arunachalam, Rameswaram, Madurai, and Kanyakumari. The four packages are: Ayodhya–Kashi: Baidyanath Dham Darshan Yatra (SCZBG56) – April 28 to May 7 Haridwar–Mata Vaishno Devi–Rishikesh Yatra (SCZBG57) – May 12 to May 21 Arunachalam–Chidambaram Divya Dakshina Yatra (SCZBG58) – May 24 to May 31 Ayodhya–Kashi Yatra with Baidyanath Dham (SCZBG59) – June 3 to June 12 The package includes train travel, bus transport, hotel accommodation, meals, drinking water, sightseeing, tour escort services, and travel insurance. IRCTC also stated that security guards and CCTV surveillance will be available on board for passenger safety.
