No LPG shortage in Telangana, officials say. Over 2.37 lakh cylinders delivered on March 13, with IOCL, HPCL and BPCL ensuring regular supply across the state.

Amid concerns over cooking gas availability, officials have clarified that there is no shortage of LPG in Telangana and consumers need not worry about supply disruptions. According to official data, a total of 2,37,123 domestic LPG cylinders were delivered across the state on March 13, 2026, which is around 12,000 more than the normal daily average. The deliveries were made by major oil marketing companies including Indian Oil Corporation (83,166 cylinders), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (88,257 cylinders), and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (65,700 cylinders). Officials said that LPG supply across Telangana remains stable, and Oil Marketing Companies are ensuring uninterrupted distribution through their networks. Authorities also stated that cylinder deliveries are being completed within two to three days after booking, depending on location and demand. Consumers have been urged not to panic or place unnecessary advance bookings, as adequate stock and regular supply arrangements are in place across the state
