Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed IT department officials to develop a ‘Praja Suchana Portal’ in the state, drawing inspiration from the ‘Jan Soochna Portal’ implemented by the Rajasthan Government. During a high-level review meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for greater transparency and easy access to government welfare information for citizens. The proposed portal aims to provide comprehensive details of various schemes, benefits, and services in a user-friendly and accessible manner. Officials were instructed to study the structure and functionality of Rajasthan’s model portal and adapt it to Telangana’s requirements. The initiative is expected to enhance accountability, reduce information gaps, and empower citizens by enabling them to track welfare benefits and services efficiently. The Chief Minister stressed that the portal should integrate multiple departments and ensure real-time updates, making governance more transparent and citizen-centric.
