Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy Targets Past Govt, Calls for Reforms in Education & Irrigation

Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy highlighted major concerns over education, irrigation, and road safety during his Assembly speech. He criticized the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi government for neglecting education and pushing the state into debt through flawed irrigation projects under K. Chandrashekar Rao. He pointed to poor infrastructure in government schools, uneven teacher distribution, and low budget allocation. Reddy appreciated the current government’s reforms, including efforts led by Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, and called for better monitoring of welfare schemes.
