Prime Minister Narendra Modi Dedicates Key Railway Infrastructure Projects in Telangana to the Nation

PM Modi dedicates ₹9,400 crore railway projects in Telangana, boosting connectivity, reducing travel time and creating employment opportunities

Prime minister Narendra Modi dedicated and inaugurated multiple development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore in Telangana at a function held in Hyderabad’s HICC Centre . The key railway projects include the Kazipet–Vijayawada Multi-Tracking Project (118 km) and the Kazipet Rail Under Bypass, aimed at improving connectivity and easing rail traffic in the region.

The event was attended by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and other senior leaders. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said the projects will boost connectivity, reduce travel time, and create employment opportunities. He also highlighted the significant increase in railway investment in Telangana since 2014. Officials said the projects will strengthen rail infrastructure between northern and southern India and improve freight and passenger movement efficiency.
