In a strong pitch for accelerated development, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend full cooperation for the state’s long-term growth roadmap.
Speaking at a major development event held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the state government has prepared a forward-looking “Telangana 2047 Policy Document” aimed at transforming Telangana into a national leader in growth and governance.
Revanth Reddy requested the Prime Minister to allocate at least two hours exclusively to discuss Telangana’s development priorities. He emphasized that with elections in five states now completed, the focus must shift away from politics and towards development-driven governance.
He stated that the people of Telangana have high expectations from Prime Minister Modi and are looking forward to central support in achieving key infrastructure, industrial, and employment goals. The Chief Minister asserted that his government’s core mission is to position Telangana as the number one state in the country.
Highlighting alignment with national goals, Revanth Reddy said Telangana will play a crucial role in the realization of the “Viksit Bharat” vision, contributing significantly to India’s overall economic and technological advancement.
The meeting and remarks signal a renewed push for Centre-State collaboration, with Telangana positioning itself as a key growth engine in India’s development story leading up to 2047.
