Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar on Wednesday said he held a productive meeting with the team from Futran Solutions to explore next-generation transport systems and innovative urban mobility solutions for the state.
Sharing details of the meeting, Shivakumar said the discussions focused on future-ready infrastructure that can redefine public transport and strengthen connectivity in rapidly growing urban centres. He emphasized that technology-driven mobility solutions are essential to address congestion and improve commuter convenience.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that Karnataka is committed to adopting modern infrastructure that tackles urban challenges while enhancing the quality of life for citizens. He said the government is examining smart and sustainable transportation models to meet the needs of expanding cities.
The meeting also covered the role of emerging technologies in improving traffic management, public transport efficiency, and integrated mobility networks. Futran Solutions presented ideas aimed at building scalable systems suited for the state’s long-term development goals.
Shivakumar reiterated that the state government will continue to work with industry experts and innovators to develop world-class infrastructure and ensure better connectivity for every citizen across Karnataka.
