Benjamin Netanyahu says the Iran conflict is not over until Tehran’s enriched uranium stockpile is removed, signaling Israel may take further action if needed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel does not view its confrontation with Iran as finished, insisting that the core objective remains the removal of Tehran’s enriched uranium stockpile.

Speaking in a strongly worded statement, Netanyahu said that military strikes may have weakened Iran’s nuclear facilities, but the threat will continue as long as Iran retains significant quantities of enriched uranium. According to him, lasting security can only be achieved once that material is taken out of Iran.

The Israeli leader warned that any agreement allowing Tehran to keep enriched uranium would be unacceptable. He stressed that Israel is prepared to take further action if necessary to prevent Iran from moving closer to nuclear weapons capability.

Netanyahu’s remarks come amid growing international concern over Iran’s nuclear ambitions and the fragile security situation in the Middle East.

His statement signals that Israel remains on high alert despite any temporary pause in direct hostilities. The comments are expected to intensify pressure on world powers engaged in diplomatic efforts with Tehran. Israel has consistently argued that diplomacy must produce concrete results, not temporary assurances.

With this latest warning, Netanyahu has reinforced Israel’s uncompromising position: the conflict with Iran will not truly end until the enriched uranium stockpile is removed and the nuclear threat is neutralized.
