Tehran has sharply escalated its rhetoric against Israel, accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately attempting to sabotage ongoing diplomatic negotiations between the United States and Iran. Iranian officials claim that Israel is pursuing a strategy of obstruction aimed at weakening any potential breakthrough in the sensitive nuclear and security talks currently underway with Washington.
According to Iranian Foreign Ministry statements, Netanyahu “only knows destruction” and is actively working to derail the dialogue process. Tehran argues that Israel’s repeated warnings and political pressure campaigns are designed to push the United States toward a harder stance, ultimately undermining diplomatic efforts that could ease regional tensions
Iranian officials further allege that Israel is uncomfortable with any agreement that does not fully dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities, and therefore continues to intervene politically and diplomatically. They insist that such actions reflect Israel’s fear of a shifting regional balance and its opposition to any US–Iran rapprochement.
On the other hand, Israel maintains that Iran remains a long-term security threat and has consistently warned that any deal allowing uranium enrichment would be dangerous. Netanyahu’s government has repeatedly pushed Washington to adopt stricter conditions in negotiations, insisting that Iran’s nuclear and missile programs must be fully addressed.
