Life inside a celebrity family is often seen as glamorous, but Trishala Dutt says her reality was far from perfect. The daughter of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently opened up about facing bullying, body-shaming and emotional struggles while growing up in the United States.
Trishala shared that she often felt isolated during her school years and was targeted for both her appearance and Indian background. She said the pressure of being linked to a famous Bollywood family only made things harder, as many expected her to fit a “perfect star kid” image.
She also spoke about battling weight issues from a young age, admitting that emotional stress and personal loss deeply affected her confidence. Trishala lost her mother, actress Richa Sharma, at a very young age, an experience she says left a lasting emotional impact.
Despite the challenges, Trishala eventually focused on rebuilding herself emotionally and professionally. Instead of entering films, she chose a career in mental health and wellness, using her own experiences to help others dealing with trauma and self-esteem struggles.
Her emotional revelations have triggered strong reactions online, with many social media users praising her honesty and courage in speaking openly about mental health, bullying and body image pressures faced even by celebrity children
