Hyderabad, April 7 (Representative): Minister Vakiti Srihari warmly congratulated child prodigy Shriyansh Murali Krishna Patel for achieving a world-class Guinness record in chess. He described Shriyansh's extraordinary talent at such a young age as a matter of pride for the state of Telangana. The minister noted that it is remarkable for Shriyansh to set a Guinness World Record in chess at just 2 years and 11 months old. He praised Shriyansh for completing 21 checkmates in just 15 minutes, a goal that is typically completed in 30 minutes, as a testament to his talent. The minister commended Shriyansh's play style, stating it reflects the sentiment "Nabhūto Nā Bhaviṣyat" (Neither before nor in the future). He mentioned that such talented individuals serve as an inspiration for the state. With Shriyansh set to receive an award in the British Parliament in June, he extended his early congratulations.
The event was attended by Minister Konda Surekha and her husband, Shriyansh's parents Konda Susmitha and Abhilash, coach Rajasekhar, and Guinness Book representative Ujwal Chauhan. On this occasion, Minister Vakiti Srihari emphasized that the government will fully support sports under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
