As part of the Prajapalana Pragathi Pranalika’s 99-day Child Safety & Protection campaign, a “Say No to Drugs” awareness program was conducted at Don Bosco Navajeevan Centre in Ramanthapur on Monday. Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed attended the event as the chief guest. Uppal Tahsildar Pool Singh Chauhan, Revenue Inspector M. Ashwini Goud, and officials from the Child and Women Welfare Department were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed emphasized the need to keep children away from drugs to secure their future. He urged parents to remain vigilant and actively guide their children, calling on the community to collectively say no to drugs and protect the younger generation. Uppal Tahsildar Pool Singh Chauhan stated that building a drug-free society should be a shared goal. He warned that substance abuse among youth can severely impact their lives and future, and stressed the importance of parental responsibility and awareness. Revenue Inspector M. Ashwini Goud highlighted that drug abuse has become a serious social issue and called for collective efforts to eliminate it for a healthier society.
A large number of local residents participated in the program and gained awareness about child safety, protection, and prevention of drug abuse. Officials reinforced the message, “Say No to Drugs – Save Children, Secure Future.”
